Anybody else think ECON is not a real science? Yeah, I'm having second thoughts.

Ok so first you make all these assumptions then derive 5 chapters worth of theories and conclusions and what have you. Then, these assumptions are broken and then you have another 5 chapters. WTF?

Maybe I should just be a Math-French major. I think I'll be happier. My dad will kill me though.

10 more days in America and then I'm off to the tropics!

 

I'm gonna get back my recommendation letters from my Math prof today. I hope they're good...

Life is really funny. Actually God is. At least to me.

He gives me what I want threatens to take it away and then opens every door. Just when I thought nothing could go wrong BAM! Another threat.

But it's all part of life - the life I chose. I'm hanging on.

I'm currently reorganizing my French notes while listening to French music...I like French.

My Stats teacher has a really thick Indian accent but he's one of the best speakers I've ever listened to. I might major in Stats, or not. But I'm definitely minoring in French. Did I mention I like it? Scrap that, I love it but my dad will disown me if I even mention majoring in it, I won't anyway.

There's a certain someone who I think hates me now coz I said something bad about a certain nationality, not realizing that this certain someone is of this certain nationality. That was certainly a faux pas which I will certainly never do again. And yes Juliette, this is certainly your nationality.

Life is beautiful. I'm happy.

There's a girl in my French class I always look at with envy. She's not the prettiest girl in class nor is she the smartest (I don't think) but she carries with her something I wish I had a reason to carry as well - music sheet.

Every morining while waiting for our teacher she takes out musical pieces and analyzes them whereas I rest my shoulders after carrying my big, fat calculus book. She's a voice major, I learned, something I would have been if I weren't such a damn elitist. She also has the best accent in class because she actually sings French songs - the best way to perfect your pronounciation.

I wish I weren't so rational...pbbbhhhhhhht.

In French class today we were asked to create questions then ask them to our classmates and they answer us back. Kinda like third grade.

Classmate: Qu'est-ce que tu etudes? (What are you studying?)

Me: J'etude economique et mathematique.

Classmate: Oh you're one of those people. (Then stops talking to me)

 

Even academia is cruel to my kind.

Wow it's been so long. I think I'm getting too old for blogging...heh (a stolen expression from china - I talk to you too much).

It's the day after a holiday, I'm at a relative's house, I'm stealing the neighbor's internet connection, I'm talking online with Erik, I'm freezing, I have a sore throat, I'm bored, I'm homesick and I can't fucking wait for this stupid semester to be over!

My brother used to use hand towels instead of bath towels. He would try to wrap one of 'em around his hips, painstakingly (he had a perfect butt too!). My mom yelled at him once. That was my favorite part. Those were the days. Now he's fucking famous.

My friend Ryan is gonna stuidy abroad in Paris next semester. Maybe I should go there for Spring break? hmmm...right.
